Strategical business Lead driving cohesion and performance delivery. Senior specialist providing directional support, holding the business accountable for all EHS matters.

  • Established the COVID-19 risk management process adopted by 2 Sisters Food Group which stood up to HSE, PHE and LA scrutiny

Senior subject matter specialist delivering on governance and accountability and building stakeholder relations. Driving best practices and continuous improvements.

  • Instilled behavioural safety programs and developed training courses resulting in an AFR 12 Month Rolling reduction 0.58 – 0.32 over 5 years
  • Crafted the Company’s web-based accident/ incident IMS (eSis)
  • Perfected the property and fire risk management standards program – resulting in 47% fire reduction over 2 years (30 vs. 16)
  • Dropped legionella positive samples from 18-1 over 3 year

Providing on-site EHS Manager support and direction. Managing the business to closure and acquisition and development of the Claims defensibility portfolio.

Environmental, Health & Safety Compliance Manager – Burnley Unison Engine Components, General Electrics, GE (September 2009 – March 2013)

Providing support and leadership in all EHS matters. Development of policies and procedures and driving best practice. Delivering on training and coaching programs.

  • Implemented GE Global Star (OSHA Voluntary Protection Plan, VPP) and accomplished accreditation – 2012
  • Strategized a robust RIDDOR and OSHA accident reduction plan resulting in reportable accidents dropping 18% year on year over 3 years
  • Devised a successful employee engagement plan increasing safety concerns and audit findings by 75%, 98% closure rate

From working as a chef in one of London’s top restaurants, Sydney’s hotel to the stars to even food product development for airline catering, I’ve worked as a chef at all levels in restaurants, hotels and gastro pubs.

And all of this was kicked off by my love of working at McDonalds (very fond memories) at the tender age of 16. Lest I forget all the part time jobs before then earning less than the hourly legal rate of some third world countries today, “I was told it would build strength in character”…
